GENERAL DESCRIPTION
RIE 9154 is a dry to the touch thermosetting modified acrylic coating. This topcoat provides excellent chemical and corrosion resistance.
RECOMMENDED USAGE
RIE 9154 is recommended wherever a uniform appearance, high corrosion
resistance and consistent torque/tension are required.
This coating is ideal for all fasteners, springs, clips and stampings.
Unaffected by typical hydrocarbon systems such as washer fluids, gasoline, oil and transmission fluid.
PERFORMANCE
Friction Factor (K): 0.17 +- .02
* Salt Spray per ASTM B-117: 1000 Hrs.
Kesternich: 15-30 cycles
Outdoor exposure 2 years, no change
Color: Bright silver
* When applied over a zinc basecoat or zinc plating.
