 GENERAL DESCRIPTION

RIE 4604 is a thermosetting epoxy coating containing a pigmented system of aluminum flake and PTFE, which provides excellent corrosion resistance and lubrication. Food contact approved.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

*  Components that require corrosion protection and torque-N-tension values.

*  Common applications include fasteners, clips, springs, stampings and sheet steel.

APPLICATION

RIE 4604 is applied using any standard liquid coating’s application technique.  Common techniques include dip/spin, coil coated and spray (conventional or electrostatic).

·          Salt Spray per ASTM B-117:  96 – 1,000 hours

·          Low electrical conductivity

·          Friction Factor (K):  0.11 to 0.15

·          Resistant to all automotive fuels.
