  GENERAL DESCRIPTION

RIE 4090 is a thermosetting zinc rich base coat, which is intended to be top coated with RIE 4017, 4606, 4010 or 9154.

            RECOMMENDED USAGE

*  Bare steel fasteners and components that require corrosion protection and torque-N-tension values *  Common applications include fasteners, clips, springs, stampings and sheet steel.

 APPLICATION

RIE 4900 is applied using any standard liquid coating’s application technique.  Common techniques include dip/spin, coil coated and spray.

            * Salt Spray per ASTM B-117:            750 Hrs. Minimum to red corrosion.
