GENERAL DESCRIPTION

RIE 1106 prevents corrosion, galling, seizing, and fretting.  The coating is distinguished by its ability to protect bearing surfaces against corrosion and to provide excellent lubrication under high loads, low speeds, dirty or abrasive environments and mating surfaces that are inaccessible for relubrication.

RECOMMENDED USAGE

• Hinges and pins on access doors.

• Splines, exterior gears and drive linkages.

• Moving parts in locks, switches, ventilation controls, computer mechanisms and similar equipment.

• Disconnects and threaded fasteners.

• Hinge pins, sleeve bearings and cams.

• Pins, springs and bearing surfaces in brakes; body hinges and linkages.
