GENERAL DESCRIPTION

RIE 1070 is formulated to provide optimum low torque, wear resistance and excellent corrosion resistance.

RIE 1070 is tough and durable. The high lubricity prevents galling and reduces both makeup and breakout torque by at least 50%. RIE 1070 resist both corrosion and the destructive effects of heat and cold. With proper pretreatment of the substrate, RIE 1070 will also prevent blistering, flaking and corrosive under burrowing.

Typical functional performance

¨     Coefficient of friction: Typically 0.05 - 0.07 (when measured on a stud bolt).

¨     Weathering: Good outdoor weathering, resistant to saltwater, sunlight (UV), other environmental corrosion.

¨     Film thickness: Typical 0.7 - 0.9 mil.

¨     Temperature: Functional from -422° F. to +550° F.
