COATINGS

RIE Coatings will recommend the best coating and process for your parts.

RIE Coatings applies environmentally-friendly coatings from a diverse group of manufacturers to insure protection and performance on a variety of materials including magnesium, magnets, steel, aluminum, copper, stainless steel, and composites. RIE Coatings has a wealth of experience coating for a broad range of industries including computer, medical, agricultural, industrial, automotive, marine, fastener, hardware and military. The diversity of coatings RIE Coatings offers affords you the best solution for your needs while insuring that your parts will receive the protection and performance you desire.

Coating Attributes

Abrasion Resistance
RIE Coatings offers coatings that will help your materials withstand mechanical action such as rubbing, scraping, or erosion; that progressively removes material from its surface. Such resistance helps to maintain the material's original appearance and structure.

Chemical Protection
RIE Coatings offers a complete range of coatings to provide long term protection against chemical attack. Whatever the chemical, whatever the environment; RIE Coatings offers the ultimate range of chemical protection systems.

Corrosion Protection
Corrosion protection extends component service life and ultimately allows for increased serviceable joints when referring to fasteners. Through thin film coating system RIE Coatings can apply a variety of coatings to meet industry specifications for corrosion protection. The thin film properties mean that you do not have to rework parts to allow for mating parts.  Added PTFE (lubricity) in the top coats also eliminates the need for post coating lubricants.

Dry Film Lubrication
Dry film lubricants are intended to reduce wear, prevent galling and seizure most notably to stainless steel.  RIE Coatings offers a wide variety of friction modifiers that can be “dialed in” to achieve the K-factor you are looking to achieve.

Heat Dissipation
When applied to surfaces, heat dissipation coatings transfer heat away from a substrate, resulting in improved efficiencies, performance and longevity of the coated parts. This ceramic bonded, thermal-conductive coating also helps to prevent corrosion and damage related to chemical and solvent attack.
